About Elena Cholovska, DipNT, mANP
Qualified nutritionist specialising in thyroid health, hormonal balance, and stress-related thyroid dysfunction, offering online consultations across Europe and the UK.
I support women with hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, and Graves’ disease, as well as those experiencing persistent thyroid-related symptoms that often remain unexplained despite “normal” blood test results.

Professional Focus & Approach
Looking beyond isolated thyroid markers
Thyroid health is rarely defined by a single number. In my work, I assess how thyroid function interacts with the wider regulatory systems of the body, rather than viewing it in isolation.
I consider how factors such as stress physiology, nutrient availability, digestion, blood sugar regulation, and metabolic resilience influence how thyroid hormones are produced, converted, and used at a cellular level. This allows recommendations to be tailored to the individual rather than the diagnosis alone.
My approach is evidence-informed, structured, and designed to support long-term balance rather than short-term fixes.
In practice, this means looking at:
Thyroid markers in context (TSH, free T3, free T4, antibodies)
Nutrient status relevant to thyroid function (iron, iodine, selenium, vitamin D)
Stress load, sleep quality, and nervous system regulation
Digestive health and liver function
Blood sugar balance and energy stability
From Personal Experience to Clinical Practice
Why context matters in thyroid health
My professional focus on thyroid health was shaped by my own experience of ongoing fatigue, brain fog, and hormonal imbalance that remained unexplained through conventional testing. Like many women, I was told that results were “within range,” yet symptoms persisted.
That experience reinforced a principle that guides my work today: symptoms are meaningful signals, and the thyroid does not function independently from the rest of the body.
This perspective informs how I support clients who feel caught between persistent symptoms and unclear explanations, helping them move from confusion toward understanding and practical action.

Training & Professional Qualifications
Formal education and professional standards
I hold a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy (DipNT) from the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM), London, and I am a registered member of the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (mANP).
My professional training includes:
Clinical nutritional therapy
Endocrine and thyroid health
Functional and systems-based assessment
Women’s hormonal physiology
Lifestyle and mind–body medicine
I work within professional and ethical standards and collaborate safely alongside medical care when appropriate. Nutrition and lifestyle support are always designed to complement, not replace, existing treatment.
Working Together
Personalised support, delivered online
I work with women across Europe and the UK through online consultations, offering support in English, Russian, and Ukrainian. Support can begin with a single consultation or continue with structured follow-up, depending on individual needs and goals.
My role is to provide clarity, guidance, and realistic strategies that fit into everyday life — without unnecessary restriction or overwhelm.
Clients often work with me to:
Understand their thyroid results in context
Address fatigue, weight changes, and low energy
Support hormone balance and digestion
Build sustainable nutrition and lifestyle habits
